As we approach the end of year, many of us are thinking about New Year’s resolutions. Let me share a little secret… THEY DON’T WORK!!! The issue is everyone expects them to be broken. How many times have you broken yours? Scott Adams in his excellent book, “How to Fail at Almost Everything and Still Win Big” shares his excellent advice “Losers have goals. Winners have systems.” Let’s say you have a goal to lose weight and recomposition your body in 2024. If you set that goal, but have no underlying system or accountability you’re inviting failure. Conversely, following a great, proven system consistently will significantly increase your odds of reaching your goals and resolutions. Great systems make it hard to fail.
