Introduction to Barbell Training

Summary

Our Introduction to Barbell Training is the best way to get started in your journey to strength, freedom and independence.

This is a private, two-hour training session where you’ll learn how to safely and efficiently increase your strength using the four primary compound barbell movements: squat, deadlift, press, and bench press. We use the EDGE method of training where we Explain, Demonstrate, Guide, and Enable the lifter through the process of learning each lift. This provides a very structured, effective, and efficient method of skill acquisition.

Goal of the Session

Our goal in this one-on-one session is to provide you with a strong foundational understanding of the four lifts in addition to giving you a high-level overview of the programming strategy that’s worked for hundreds of lifters in their 40s, 50s, 60s, and beyond!

Location

This is a private, one-on-one session online or at our Freedom Strength studio gym in Osage Beach, Missouri.
